Sunflower plots, complicit in rows
Deem Soft Instructions
Human showers imitate rainfall.
Recognizing nature’s will
Reflections hide details
In the infrastructure.
By staging the process
Deception beguiles the labored habit,
“This worked before
Why not try it again?”
Ripples crowd rainfall puddles
And those delivered from the tap
Are kidnapped by dry spots,
Hiding in plain sight
To ruin Sunflower petals again.
